About the position

The Commercial Account Manager at AWS is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth among small to mid-market accounts, as well as enterprise-level customers. This role requires strategic engagement with CXO-level executives and IT professionals to develop and execute territory coverage plans, meet quarterly revenue targets, and ensure customer satisfaction. The position emphasizes the importance of a self-starter mentality to drive business outcomes and accelerate customer adoption of AWS services.

Responsibilities
• Drive revenue and increase market share in a defined set of accounts.

• Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
,
• Develop and execute a plan to grow the AWS footprint within your set of accounts.
,
• Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically.
,
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
,
• Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and successful go-to-market strategy to achieve customer outcomes.

• Maintain a robust sales pipeline.

• Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
,
• Ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements
• 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS.

• Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent.
