Job Overview:
Delta Group is looking to fill a Remote Surveillance Technician role. This position will be responsible for the production and maintenance of remote camera equipment and assisting the department manager with related tasks.

Responsibilities:  Build, maintain, and repair remote camera equipment  Support and assist remote investigators with the deployment and retrieval of camera equipment  Test and build camera power supply to ensure proper functioning use  Order equipment to meet inventory needs and demand  Track inventory to ensure accurate data for multi-departmental use  Ability to recovery corrupted data using troubleshooting methods  Provide camera status updates to the team.  Stay up to date on technological advancements.  Assist in researching innovative components, solutions and prototypes.  Assist the department manager with the production and maintenance of surveillance equipment  Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, hardware, and software for routing networks and IP network cameras  Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to internet connectivity, modem/router configurations, and/or investigator equipment  Provide technical support for remote investigators and other departmental personnel
Skills:
· Basic Networking: Knowledge of networking principles and security protocols
 Knowledge of principles such as DHCP, FTP, SFTP, LAN, and WAN
 Technical understanding and experience of integrating PoE and modems for IoT purposes
 Certifications: CompTIA A+ required; Networking+ or CCNA preferred
 Experience with cloud computing  AWS preferred
 Surveillance Technology: Knowledge of cameras and understanding video imaging properties like WDR, frame rates, compressions, resolutions, and zipstreams
 Technical Expertise: Experience working with power tools, splicing wires, soldering, crimping, and low voltage systems
Requirements:  Education: Bachelor's degree in IT preferred  Must be available for occasional evening and weekend duty  Flexible schedule based on departmental needs
Physical Requirements:  Ability to remain in a seated position for extended periods of time  Ability to stand for extended periods of time  Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Location: Buford, GA
Status: Full-time in office
Hours: MondayÂFriday 9:00 AMÂ6:00 PM EST (occasional evening and weekend duties to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may arise)
