Director, Peer to Peer Giving (remote)
Posted 2025-04-05The Director, Peer to Peer Giving is responsible for developing, overseeing, implementing, training, and monitoring a diverse and comprehensive Peer to Peer development program with focus on network wide events (Walk Like MADD) and building a comprehensive peer to peer program to be implemented throughout the United States, that aligns with MADD's strategic goals at national, state, and local levels. This role focuses on ensuring significant fundraising and development pipeline growth through key strategies supporting MADDÂs mission, individual donations, third-party events, memorial and honor giving.
This is a remote, work from home position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
 Mentor the development team in Peer to Peer fundraising, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
 Develop and implement a diversified, comprehensive Peer to Peer development plan that aligns with the organizationÂs strategic priorities.
 Drive aggressive growth in fundraising revenues through core strategies in the Peer to Peer Program.
 Collaborate with the Chief Development/Revenue Officer to set annual fundraising goals and ensure strategies are in place to achieve them.
 Lead the development and execution of public awareness/DIY campaigns that support fundraising objectives and elevate the organizationÂs profile within the community.
 Collaborate with the Director of Individual Giving, to create compelling, donor-centered communication materials, including proposals, reports, and updates to team captains/Peer to Peer Fundraisers.
 Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all fundraising and public awareness activities.
 Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational policies related to fundraising activities.
 Collaborate with Mission Delivery implement a Peer to Peer fundraising volunteer recruitment plan to ensure adequate volunteer resources for all fundraising activities for the state or region.
 Provide training and support to staff and volunteers to enhance their fundraising capabilities and understanding of Peer to Peer best practices.
 Stay informed of philanthropy and nonprofit fundraising trends, integrating new ideas and approaches into the organizationÂs development strategies.
 Continuously evaluate and improve Peer to Peer fundraising programs, seeking opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
 Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
 BachelorÂs degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
 Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of successful fundraising results through Peer to Peer fundraising programs
 Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices.
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
 Demonstrated success in cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual and institutional donors.
 Strong organizational skills.
 Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
 High level of initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
 Proficiency in using fundraising software, databases, and CRM systems.
