Description:
 The G/T Teacher is responsible for ensuring quality Special Education services are provided.
 Reports directly to the Director of Student Services.
 Expected to provide Special Education Services to their caseload and identify gifted areas.
 Manage Gifted and Talented caseload and communicate with stakeholders.
 Ensure students receive services as outlined on their ALPs.
Requirements:  Possess a Gifted and Talented Education endorsement  Valid Colorado G/T teaching license  Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive)  Experience using Zoom, Canvas, and online teaching tools  Ability to pass a background check  At least 2 years experience in the field of Gifted and Talented Education  Experience in delivering online G/T services strongly desirable  Proven experience working with school staff, students, and their families  Integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment  Advocacy skills and the ability to work with other staff members to achieve WACÂs Standard of Excellence  Ability to respond effectively to the needs of diverse students and families  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a digital environment  High degree of flexibility with an aggressive growth mindset
