LEAD Georgia Pre-K Teacher

The candidate must have experience with Georgia Pre-K and the WSO assessment tool.  *Salary Expectations: Pre-K pay is determined based on education and credentialing set by Bright from The Start PreK Operating Guidelines. *Additional pay will be considered by the center based on education level and experience.
 *Responsibilities include:**
 Engage children in stimulating developmental activities and play.
 Supervise children closely to ensure their safety at all times.
 Assist children with daily activities such as restroom use, diapering, and handwashing.
 Daily communication with parents regarding their child(ren).
 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all children.
 Cultivate professional relationships with each family to provide high-quality care and friendly service.
 Supervise classroom teacher aides, ensuring compliance with program policies and customer service standards.
 Provide guidance and training to teacher aides as needed throughout the day.
 Plan daily age-appropriate activities for young children.
 Conduct child assessments and facilitate parent-teacher conferences.
 Participate in occasional parent involvement events, including evenings and weekends.
 Prepare monthly parent newsletters and weekly lesson plans per policy.
 Responsible for daily reports and activities related to meals, nap time, and diaper changes.
 Maintain a professional appearance and consistently uphold the organization's values.
The responsibility of the Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher is to perform all tasks according to Bright from the StartÂs Pre-K Guidelines, policies, and procedures. The Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher will implement activities that align with the Georgia PreK Guidelines and the approved curriculum for this class.
 *Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Proven experience working in a preschool setting
- Familiarity with child welfare practices and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents effectively
