Global Education Marketing Manager

ACEÂs education program is the foundational program on which the organization was built in 2008. Since then, the program has expanded to include digital education through the Our Climate Our Future platform. This program is currently in its next phase of development to expand to international markets, specifically in India, Brazil, and South Africa  countries where levels of climate literacy are low and the potential for renewable energy development is high.
This position will lead the expansion of ACEÂs education work into these new geographies, as well as continue to build on ACEÂs education work in the US. A key priority of this role will be to continue to combat mis- and disinformation on climate and renewable energy, both in schools and in the general public. The ideal candidate will have experience in international marketing, a passion for education, and the ability to drive growth in diverse markets.
This is a full-time position based anywhere in the United States, Canada, European Union, India or Brazil. The Global Education Marketing Manager will work from home, meet as required by video chat with teams, and have weekly national full staff meetings with colleagues online. This position will require occasional travel, both within and outside the US.
Key Responsibilities:  Digital marketing management (50%)  Manage global ad campaigns and amplification of creator and vendor-produced content  Run creator and influencer campaigns to meet country-specific education goals  Manage development and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy focused on creating compelling educational video content  Design and execute multichannel marketing campaigns, including social media  Monitor and report on campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed  Production management (25%):  Manage and collaborate closely with vendors, including individual creators, freelancers, and production houses, to manage the production of educational climate and renewable energy video content  Manage budgets ranging from small, individual creator payouts to up to $500,000  Ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness of all educational content including scripts and videos via content review and quality control checks  Manage the end-to-end content creation process, from concept development and scripting to production and post-production, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and messaging  Identify and engage with local partners in India, South Africa, and Brazil to tailor content to regional contexts and maximize outreach  Program and staff management (25%):  Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and effectiveness of content, iterating and refining strategies as needed  Collaborate across teams within ACE ensure the successful execution of projects  Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in educational media, incorporating new technologies and methodologies into content development efforts  Oversee the Education Program Coordinator position
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:  At least 5 years experience running ads in social media channels such as Meta, YouTube and Tiktok, with at least 3 years in an international role, including at least one year of experience in production management, including script review, post-production review, and quality control  Experience in production management of education, science, climate or renewable energy content  General knowledge of climate change and renewable energy and sense of urgency to solve the climate emergency within the next decade  Experience working with international partners and contractors  1-3 years of staff management experience  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  Flexible and adaptable mindset and willingness to pivot in response to shifting organizational needs and priorities  Excellent technological skills or ability to learn: Meta Ads Manager, Tiktok, YouTube, Monday.com, Engaging Networks, Slack, Google Apps, Google Data Studio, and other relevant programs as necessary  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English  Able to travel domestically and internationally as needed  Ability to adapt as necessary to fulfill additional roles, responsibilities, and opportunities as necessary
Desired Qualifications:  Climate change or renewable energy subject matter expertise  Knowledge of mis- and disinformation tactics used to spread doubt and delay the transition to a renewable energy economy  Multilingual in one or more languages of Brazil, South Africa, or India  Experience working in a non-profit setting  Excitement to bring new ideas to the table and an ability to self-initiate creativity and entrepreneurialism

POSITION DETAILS
 Annual salary range if candidate is in US: $75000-85000, commensurate with experience
