Pre-k Teacher Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Develop an appropriate classroom management system to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.
• Maintain professional commitment: Promote a “learning through play” philosophy and educational objectives.
• Ensure that children are always within state ratio requirements.
• Establish positive and effective family relations.
• Always supervise children within sight and sound.

Qualifications
• An associate or bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field (may accept a minimum of a CDA with experience for this position).
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in the ECE field
• Must be able to pass the Mandatory State of Indiana Background Check
• Dependable and enjoys working together as part of a team.
