Kelly Education is hiring for Substitute Teachers and Substitute Special Education Paraprofessionals (teacher assistant) positions for the 2024/25 school year! School will be starting mid-August. And it’s easier than you may think to become a substitute teacher….I would love an opportunity to speak with you about the process to become a substitute teacher or paraprofessional. • Education Requirements: HS diploma or GED • Districts in Cedar Lake, Gary, and Michigan City • Payrates: $70-$115/day (depending on license level and school district) or for paraprofessionals $15/hour. • Duties: For Daily Substitute Teachers you'll provide instruction, encourage student progress, manage the learning environment, implement existing lesson plans in a manner that ensures the integrity of academic time and motivates students to learn and participate. • Perks: weekly pay, free pre-hire Training to help prepare you for the classroom, flexible schedule (work as much as you want to work!), referral bonus program, and insurance plans.
