Overview: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School General Education Teacher specializing in Chemistry or Biology to join a school district in Orleans, Indiana. This position is available for virtual candidates, offering flexibility to meet the needs of educators.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in Chemistry or Biology aligned with state curriculum standards. • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to student learning and growth. • Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback. • Collaborate with other educators, staff, and parents to support student success. • Utilize technology effectively for instruction and communication, especially in a virtual teaching environment.

Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Education, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. • Valid teaching certification/licensure for high school science in Indiana (or willingness to obtain). • Strong communication and classroom management skills. • Experience in virtual teaching platforms (for remote candidates) is preferred but not required.

Compensation:
• Pay is competitive and based on experience, with rates up to $42 per hour.
• On-site candidates will be offered a W2 position with benefits eligibility.
