Cost Accounting Analyst

 Analyze raw material costs, monitor inventory, and ensure accurate financial reporting
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights that drive cost efficiency and profitability
 Establish standard costs for raw material inputs
 Conduct CVP analysis to understand the relationship between costs, volume, and profit
 Ensure accurate reconciliation of cost-related accounts
 Prepare audit reports related to cost accounting
 Manage related balance sheet account, ensuring accurate recording of cost-related transactions
 Propose changes to company processes and policies to enhance cost efficiency
Requirements:  BachelorÂs degree in Accounting or Finance required  CPA or CMA designation a plus  3-5 years of experience, including some experience within inventory/cost accounting in a large, complex, multi-location manufacturer  Strong systems aptitude with preference given to candidates with proficiency with SAP ERP  SAP BPC and SAP Business Objects experience  Strong Microsoft office skills (especially MS Excel) required  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail  Strong general accounting skills, including a thorough understanding of US GAAP inventory rules and requirements  Understands financial statement relationships between balance sheet, income and cash flow statements
