The role
WeÂre seeking an Operations Analyst to support SoFiÂs Marketing team. You will be a trusted partner for the team making sure the business side of Marketing org runs efficiently. Your focus will be on areas such as administrative projects, data collection and analysis and driving efficient processes.
This role would partner closely with many teams within SoFi. The ideal candidate should be able to work cross-functionally to solve challenges with uncertain inputs and outputs.A typical week will likely be split in two main buckets: 1) support of regular weekly / monthly / quarterly spend tracking and reporting and 2) special projects which require strategy, analysis, problem-solving, cross-functional project management, and more.
This role reports to the Business Operations Sr Associate for Marketing
What YouÂll Do
 Partner with Marketing stakeholders in the weekly / monthly / quarterly creation, receiving, tracking and closing of Purchase Orders (POs)
 Own invoicing process (collection, payment etc)
 Lead weekly coordination across teams to input and update budget latest calls in our internal tools and/or consolidated spreadsheets
 Support Finance and Accounting on budget management and spend reporting
 Support BizOps counterparts in other business units and functions on production and delivery of company-wide standardized processes such as quarterly planning and board deck preparation
 Collaborate with different functions (Marketing, Procurement and Finance) to streamline as well as improve current ways of working
What YouÂll Need
 BA/BS degree with 1-2 years of experience
 A passion for our mission of helping people achieve their financial goals
 Strong analytical abilities (SoFi is a data-driven company) and proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, Powerpoint/Google Slides
 Effective communication and ability to work cross-functionally
 Ability to work independently and a strong sense of ownership (Methodical, self-starter, hands-on, willingness to get into the details)
 Organized and comfortable working in a high growth, constantly changing environment
 Positive attitude, eagerness to learn new skills, tools and process
 Nice to have: Basic knowledge of user interface of various Marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc) to be able to pull invoices and check payment status within the platform
Example Projects
 Creating and managing POs for different Marketing channels
 Support month-end reconciliation of POs, Invoices and Accounting accruals
 Weekly update our budgeting tool with the latest calls and budget changes
 Track and report MarketingÂs weekly metrics (Unaided and Aided awareness)
 Create and manage quarterly trackers for forecasting and spend management
 Work with Procurement and others on improving vendor onboarding
