Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Health Insurance Advocate Intern to lead the development of a comprehensive, multilingual Family Health Insurance Guide covering all 50 United States and territories - Later expanding to include family friendly resource guides for other countries. This pioneering resource will help families understand, access, and optimize their healthcare coverage options regardless of language barriers or geographic location.

Key Responsibilities
Research and Content Development
 Research health insurance options in all 50 states and territories
 Private insurance markets
 State-specific Medicaid programs
 Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
 Medicare options and supplements
 Special state-specific programs
 Territory-specific healthcare systems
 Create Family-Friendly Content
 Develop easy-to-understand explanations
 Create visual guides and infographics
 Design interactive decision-making tools
 Write step-by-step application guides
 Develop cost comparison tools
 Create coverage optimization strategies
Multicultural and Language Adaptation
 Coordinate with translation teams for multiple languages including:
 Spanish
 Mandarin Chinese
 Vietnamese
 Korean
 Tagalog
 Arabic
 Other identified community needs
 Cultural Competency
 Ensure cultural appropriateness of content
 Adapt examples for different communities
 Include cultural-specific healthcare considerations

Position Details
 100% Remote position
 Flexible schedule
