Mortgage Sales Manager (Remote)

The position is a producing manager role and is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, development and retention of the Mortgage Loan Officers (MLOÂs) of Susser Bank Mortgage for assigned territories. Additionally, the employee is expected to meet minimum production metrics for their book of business. This role is for the Sales Manager that also originates as an MLO. Delivering minimum productions metrics for managed producers and employee is critical to long-term success. There are two sets of primary duties and responsibilities for this role:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
 Coaches MLO staff to achieve maximum production levels; conducts performance reviews and supports overall employee career development.
 Overseas sales team performance and communicates goals and policy changes on a regular basis. Emphasis and compensation are on purchase money production.
 Recruits, hires, trains, and manages all production personnel for assigned territory. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, regulatory and company rules and policies.
 Builds loan officer goals and monitors pipelines on regular basis.
Primary Mortgage Loan Officer Duties and Responsibilities
 Develop and maintain a successful relationship with Business referral sources.
 Prospect new mortgage lending opportunities.
 Meet with customers as necessary during the application process.
 Determine borrowers financial objectives.
 Take a complete and accurate loan application.
 Review and analyze borrowers credit profile and provide appropriate solutions.
 Collect supporting documents and upload full file to assigned processor.
 Apprise borrower of pricing scenarios and initiate rate lock.
 Coordinate with Processor to ensure file is successfully moved through all phases of the approval process to achieve an On-time closing.
 Ensure Superior Customer Service by providing on-going communication to customer and referral partners setting appropriate expectations.
 Understands and agrees to abide by the policies and procedures established by Susser Bank.
 Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
 Maintains the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records.
 Maintains current and up-to-date knowledge and continues professional development through training as applicable.
 Demonstrates a courteous, pleasant, self-motivated, and dependable behavior. Maintaining a professional environment in both appearance and conduct.
 Performs additional duties as assigned or directed.
Secondary Responsibilities
 Projects and leads professional and cultural standards of bank and mortgage company.
 Maintains personal production pipeline as needed.
Education and Experience Required
 High school or equivalent degree required.
 BachelorÂs Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent education and experience preferred.
 5 years of managerial experience required.
