As a Senior Fraud Risk Analyst within Fan Care, you will report to the Senior Manager of Care Process, Fraud & Risk. You will lead the way in supporting the business through data analysis, mitigation scoping and articulation of recommended actions. You will identify impactful opportunities to reduce Fan Growth exposure related to fraudulent internal and external vectors. You are a thoughtful and curious person who has experience using data to promote informed discussion. You will use findings to engage with partners, influence decisions, and initiate change.
Responsibilities
 You will provide subject matter expertise to partner teams in Fan Care and across EA on channel fraud, internal threats, and account integrity risks that impact Fan Care
 Monitor, detect, and analyse fraudulent activities and patterns in Fan Care systems and channels. Use advanced data analytics tools and techniques to identify suspicious behaviour and potential fraud risks. Perform in-depth research of data, telemetry, and documentation to identify patterns, trends and outliers
 You will assess leads and draft clear/concise investigative reports that deliver insight and recommended actions. Present insights on fraudulent patterns, with the ability to tailor the delivery to audience levels
 Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate the potential impact of identified fraud risks. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks while ensuring minimal impact to legitimate Fans.
 You will develop & implement fraud prevention models and policies. Design frameworks to monitor validity of modelling outputs, and ensure that all policies are up-to-date and address latest fraud threats.
 Collaborate with partner teams on security and fraud projects. Support the management and response plans on incidents affecting Fan Care
 You will develop solutions that have clear measurability, success criteria, and action plans through application of project management methodologies
 Provide training and guidance to junior staff on fraud detection techniques, tools, and best practices. Stay current with industry trends and latest fraud threats.
 You will manage your own work portfolio, where you deliver updates, output and insights in a regular and transparent way
 Support your team in their activities, and contribute to a positive working environment. Be a team player, and an advocate of EA values
 Set challenging goals that contribute to the strategic mission. Build relationships across EA, where you can unlock barriers and deliver compelling results.
Qualifications
 3 years Fraud Operations experience
 Bachelor's degree in a related field
 Experience in fraud areas such as CRM (customer relationship management) tool abuse, account management fraud, insider threats, or digital content fraud
 Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and fraud detection software. Experience with gaming platforms, in-game economies, and player behaviour
 You are experienced with performing complex investigations & research, while finding root-causes, patterns and layered connections. You deliver tracked documentation, and provide summarized outcomes & recommendations
 You can explain complex issues in a concise and relatable way, both verbally and written
 Excellent Project Management capabilities, with experience managing and delivering complex projects
 An inquisitive mindset that brings creative solutions for improving the player experience and reducing friction, while considering the requirements for balanced risk tolerance
 Experience with fraud detection methodologies, and risk management strategies
 Advanced Microsoft excel skills (can perform complex functions and data visualizations)
 Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools

Compensation And Benefits

º $82,500 - $122,900 USD Annually

º $91,600 - $122,200 USD Annually
 Illinois (depending on location e.g. Chicago vs Illinois City):
º $76,000 - $99,000 USD Annually
 Minnesota (depending on location e.g. Minneapolis vs Saint Paul):
º $76,000 - $99,000 USD Annually
 New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $76,000 - $122,900 USD Annually
 Jersey City, NJ :
º $99,000 - $122,900 USD Annually
 Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $76,000 - $109,200 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
