Expedition Expectations
As a key member of the Quality Assurance team, the QA Analyst will be responsible for a variety of travel-related testing projects at Direct Travel. As a QA Analyst, you must be able to analyze and understand project requirements, turn them into test cases, execute the test cases, report defects, and work issues to resolution. The ideal QA Analyst candidate is one who has experience in the travel industry but who seeks the opportunity to transition that knowledge into an Information Technology role.
This role works closely with internal teams at Direct Travel  Training, GDS Support, Operations and the Central Commands QA team. This role reports to Tracy Poole, Integration Project Manager. This position is fully remote.
Passport to Success
 Analyze the test project
 Create and execute test cases
 Document defects and report to the appropriate teams for resolution
 Research, document and remediate issues
 Conduct time studies to measure efficiencies
 Coordinate with internal teams at Direct Travel
 Assist in researching, creating and documenting requirements for new processes
 Project Management  Special project work
Going the Extra Mile
 Minimum 3+ years travel industry experience
 GDS experience in both Sabre and Amadeus
 Knowledge of manual GDS entries
 Familiarity with Sabre SR360 and Amadeus platforms
 MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
 Basic understanding of travel operations processes
 Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications
 Attention to detail
 Strong decision-making skills
 Self-starter, ability to take initiative
 Previous testing experience
 Technical writing experience a plus
 Ability to travel when required
 Must be able to lawfully work in the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
