Lender Placed Insurance Specialist II
Overview of Position
Hazard Insurance Specialist II, under the guidance of the Unit Manager is responsible for the input, set-up and/or maintenance of client, customer and/or agent information for one or more of the companyÂs policies, products or services. With the use of a computerized system, responsible for the maintenance of customerÂs accounts, by processing premium payments and/or delinquent premiums, either by direct or automated payment.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
 Perform basic Data Entry functions as needed i.e. Manual addition & cancellation of policies (Systems used  Hazard Plus, Trackall 2.0 and LPS (Fidelity))
 Process and resolve issues that require in-depth research. CCOs, CCWs, Tasks, and emails
 Perform maintenance as necessary for the refund transaction. Notate applicable system for each loan transaction. - (including the letter log (14E)).
 Ensure that all items are processed in a timely manner to meet and exceed established standards.
 Process various special projects as needed.
 Performs other duties as assigned including, but not limited to: LYDIA production log, batching, filing, LP letter reprints, assist with Mail Room functions as needed
 Ability to meet deadlines to remain compliant with clientÂs goals and standards
 Reviews and updates processing procedures as well as make recommendations for process improvements.
 Process Lender Placed Insurance via payments report (039)
 Verify that the LPI policy contains acceptable coverage amounts and premium, and take appropriate action to add or cancel LP coverage
 Process LPI Wind and aging via payments report. (WNC & WNC List Bills/Assurant Wind)
 Process Lender Placed Insurance via 039 report
 Process Lender Placed Insurance via 063 database
 Work Payment Exception Reports  141, 22I, 22L, 449, 242, 5013 & 14E
 Accurately input data, create manual disbursements, and maintenance the lines as needed.
 Process and resolve issues that require minimal research.
 Process various special projects as needed.
 Resolves simple questions and problems, refers more difficult items to a higher level,
 Identify systems errors or issues and advise all levels of management
 Ability to meet deadlines to remain compliant with clientÂs goals and standards
 Review/Analyze manual refunds and apply to the appropriate client entity (Checks/5013 report)
What are the requirements needed for this position?
 High School Diploma
 One year experience in an office setting (preferably in a production environment).
 Ability to work under pressure to meet or exceed deadlines to maintain client expectations.
 Ability to adapt easily as procedures/client needs change.
 Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
 Intermediary skill set for Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
 Knowledge of LPS (Fidelity), HazardPlus, TrackAll 1.5, TrackAll 2.0, MortgageServ, RealServicing are a plus.
 Good communication skills (Verbal & Written) Professional candidate.
 Ability to make good decisions
 Familiar with mainframe computer and applications.
