HR Recruiter - Bookkeeper Specialist - Remote
Posted 2025-04-06The Storage Group, is an established but growing marketing agency focused in the Self Storage Industry and we are looking for a positive and focused (Remote/Part Time) HR Recruiting and Bookkeeping Specialist who has experience in both employee recruitment and bookkeeping. These skills would include knowledge of employee hiring process and legal parameters and assisting with accounts payable/receivable and basic accounting. This will be a remote position but for training purposes some occasional in office work may be required.
Day to Day Life at The Storage Group as a Recruiting and Bookkeeping Specialist:
 Assist and or oversee payroll and tax preparation
 Assist and or oversee AP/AR process
 Create spreadsheets for various business needs relating to sales, products, billing, etc.
 Work in a CRM system (currently Method)
 Assist in the preparation of financial statements and documents
 Create and evaluate job postings for current and future roles
 Utilize various job posting sites for efficient and effective hiring process
 Contact applicants, discuss roles and set up additional interviews, testing etc. when needed.
 Maintain all communications with candidates and follow up for positions.
What you need to know to be successful in this role:
 Ability to work in Quickbooks Online
 Able to process financial information per company procedures and schedules
 Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
 Understanding Payroll and Taxes
 Understand the working of spreadsheets/ advanced excel
 Understanding of banking receipts and payable system
 Experience in Financial Statement preparation
 Understanding Tax process for Businesses
 Experience with recruiting sites and posting jobs
 Ability to engage with prospective candidates and evaluate skills and match to company and position
 Outgoing personality when working with candiates
 Organizational ability to keep recruitment process moving forward
