About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP for Consumer Lending, Analytics, and Credit Strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all 2nd line independent credit risk oversight for new and existing personal and home loan portfolios. This role involves the review and effective challenge of 1st line credit strategies to ensure they meet profitability hurdles and are within the corporate risk appetite. The VP will also be tasked with creating a culture of effective risk management, accountability, and risk awareness across the organization.

Key responsibilities for the VP include end-to-end oversight of credit risk performance, leading analytic staff in strategy-level monitoring, and providing senior executives with a concise point of view on emerging risks. The role requires the ability to effectively challenge credit assumptions, evaluate significant transactions, and provide counsel on credit risk issues. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, or a related field, with at least 12 years of experience in credit risk management, marketing analytics, or a related area. The position demands a professional who can operate in a primarily indoor, office setting and is capable of communicating effectively, both verbally and in written form.
