About the position

Content Inventory Specialists are responsible for managing the physical inventory of contents damaged in residential and commercial claims. This part-time position may transition to full-time based on performance, requiring effective communication and coordination with various stakeholders throughout the claims process.

Responsibilities
• Manage assigned claims from initial contact until completion acting as the single point of contact for all stakeholders
,
• Communicate with adjusters/policyholders and industry vendors to explain their roles as Content Claims Specialists
,
• Schedule and complete physical inventory of the contents impacted by the covered loss
,
• Determine appropriate course of action regarding whether content items should be restored, repaired, cleaned, or replaced
,
• Ensure consistent quality and turnaround of all claims in accordance with the Company's productivity and performance standards
,
• Direct the Field Support Department to organize resources required for completing data entry and LKQ assessment of all damaged contents
,
• Independently manage claim load to promote timely turnaround and closures of all claims
,
• Communicate with all parties in adherence to timely and informative updates on the content claims process
,
• Complete and submit detailed work/time logs on a daily basis for all claims processed
,
• Maintain claim related notes in the Company's Claims System/Web-application
,
• Ensure timely and accurate completion/pricing of all outstanding items
,
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education
,
• Promote edjuster's brand, image, and reputation in a professional manner
,
• Participate in Special Projects, CAT response, or perform duties in other areas as requested.

Requirements
• Secondary (High School) Diploma
,
• Good verbal and written communication skills
,
• Good attention to detail
,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
,
• Ability to work independently
,
• Strong computer skills (MS Office/Outlook/Excel, etc.)
,
• Minimum 6 months relevant work experience
,
• Valid driver's license
,
• Ability to provide an adequate workspace, high-speed internet service, and reliable personal vehicle.
