Overview

The Business Systems Manager oversees the technical/software support function which assists Bank employees who use the Jack Henry banking system including Accounting, Deposit, Retail, and Loan platform processing. Assists with a variety of other ancillary applications. Responsible for the analysis and problem-solving for system-related issues.

In Short
• Maintain regular interaction with senior officers regarding software and support issues.
• Interact with Compliance Department on regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate team meetings and provide direction.
• Supervise direct reports and conduct performance appraisals.
• Review incoming projects and validate requests.
• Work closely with other departments on projects.
• Manage software support staff and project assignments.
• Participate in project meetings related to Jack Henry core system.
• Maintain user authority in Jack Henry system.
• Assist with ancillary applications.
Requirements
• 10-15 years of experience in program troubleshooting and basic programming.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in IT or systems analysis.
• Ability to motivate and influence others.
• Solid knowledge of Jack Henry operating system.
• Efficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines with interruptions.
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
