Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a critical role in the candidate experience and serves as a subject matter expert for impactful operations throughout the recruiting process. This role involves thought partnership across HR and our vendors, a lens of continuous improvement and a desire to drive meaningful delivery in every service we offer. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator serves as a liaison with our candidates and future employees, a key contributor to compliance monitoring, and a valuable stakeholder in special projects spanning across the HR landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Operations
 Executes and manages the life cycle of candidate background screens in partnership with our third party vendor while remaining in compliance with our internal policies and processes and adhering to federal and state regulations.
 Assists in managing the relationship with our background vendor to discuss trends, barriers, and continue to elevate the process.
 Reviews, analyzes, and recommends improvements on vendor performance against service level metrics and agreements to ensure quality and efficiency
 Manages back end operations and onboarding questions from internal and external stakeholders
Process Improvement
 Reviews and assists with compliance auditing (i.e. background checks, I-9)
 Tracks and monitors weekly new hire welcome correspondence process to validate new employees have everything they need prior to Day 1
 Conducts ongoing assessments of processes and make recommendations for improvements for each service we provide
 Participates in TA department and team level projects focused on processes and technology improvements (i.e. HireRight and Workday performance, onboarding enhancements, ongoing measurement and integration workstreams)
 Identifies system or technology tool issues and efficiency gaps and recommend improvements
 Secures and runs business reports to capture key staffing metrics and trends to identify process changes and recruiting practices
Customer Service and Department Inquiries
 Investigates, triages, resolves and develops reports to analyze business practice improvement opportunities
 Maintains excellent client relationships with the ability to communicate proactively and consistently with client groups, such as, AskHR, TA employees, and leadership
 Displays a strong consultative approach and ability to establish effective partnerships internally and externally, and at all organizational levels across teams
 Works directly with candidates; as well as internal relationships with all HRBPs, HRCOEÂs, hiring managers and their teams, requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
 Possesses advanced knowledge of recruiting functions within an HR organization
Technology Troubleshooting
 Provides technical, operational, and customer service support to TA members on Workday flow and errors
 Provides consultation on HireRight platform system issues
 Partners with TA and other HR departments, technology organizations, and IBM to build, maintain, redesign, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend improvements
 Manages all TA SharePoint sites by granting permission, editing pages, publishing content, tracking and developing content
 Maintains data integrity of applicant tracking system, Workday and resolve data issues
Projects/Taskforces
 Participates as a key role in projects that result in process improvements Talent Acquisition
 Independently leads projects and/or makes recommendations that result in process improvements for the recruiting function, the client, and/or best practice
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience
 BachelorÂs Degree or equivalent experience
 0-2 years of related experience
 Experience with balancing routine and non-routine tasks along with ad hoc requests in a deadline sensitive environment
 Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
 Workday experience preferred
 Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex data issues to determine root cause
 Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to complete concurrent tasks in a timely fashion; thrive in a fast-paced environment
 Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
 Excellent client relationship skills to communicate proactively and partner effectively with team leaders, recruiters and others in the organization, and across functional areas
 Time and project management skills
 Detail oriented, creative thinker and strong problem solver

National General prides itself on offering our employees a robust Total Rewards package which includes base salary. The base range offered for the role is: $43,500 Â $58,000 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors. Other financial components may be added as part of the competitive compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
