Job Description:
At Regions, the Corporate Banking New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) Portfolio and Asset Manager (PAM) is responsible for all aspects of underwriting, compliance, portfolio management, and accounting related to the NMTC program. This role is responsible for monitoring program compliance of industry partners as well as community impacts generated from projects.
Primary Responsibilities
 Prepares underwriting memorandum for new NMTC investments, including coordination with Commercial, Corporate, and CRE partners
 Assists in review of pre-closing, closing, and exit documents
 Reviews the Flow of Funds (account numbers, fees, etc.); coordinate internally to make sure all accounts are set up and wires processed for closing
 Prepares sub-allocation and QEI designation paperwork and makes transfers on the CDFI Fund website
 Reviews flexible terms and conditions memorandums
 Assists with preparation of documents in connection with the unwind at the end of compliance period, including required safe harbor calculations
 Collects QALICB & CDE certifications
 Reviews and analyzes financial statements
 Maintains current risk ratings for portfolio
 Maintains data points for AMIS reporting and lead AMIS and IRS reporting as required
 Assists with post-closing portfolio investment issues
 Performs semi-annual testing as required by NMTC program
 Oversees project and related compliance documentation
 Maintains credit allocation within AMIS system
 Coordinates collection of annual Advisory Board renewals and certifications regarding low-income community representative status
 Maintains satisfactory credit risk standards, risk review assessments, audit results, and compliance results
 Remains abreast of industry developments, trends, and competitive data
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
 Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
 Three (3) years of underwriting/asset management experience
Preferences
 Tax credit finance experience
 Salesforce experience
Skills and Competencies
 Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines
 Excellent organizational and time management skills
 Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
