Job Description:
At Regions, the Information Technology Project Manager leads large or multiple complex projects with significant scope and impact while working independently on difficult assignments that are broad in nature requiring ingenuity with some latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions. This position partners with business leaders and managers to manage projects and their delivery through multi-disciplinary teams to achieve specific business outcomes while being held accountable for project results.
Primary Responsibilities
 Shapes/leads organizational efforts translating strategy into results by converting business needs into tangible delivery work
 Defines, develops, and manages the overall project schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within budget
 Guides teams through project structuring, problem definition, issues identification, and resolution development using problem solving principles and past experience
 Identifies, prioritizes, and quantifies project opportunities based on assessment activities and an understanding of high-level vision, performance gaps, and needs relative to business drivers within the banking industry
 Identifies, engages, and leads multi-disciplinary teams to plan and deliver the business outcomes of the projects assigned
 Assesses and manages risk throughout the project life cycle and works with key stakeholders to deliver risk mitigation plans as needed
 Manages technology projects for various business groups throughout the Enterprise related but not limited to network upgrades, hardware installations, software and app development, data management to include data integration and transformation as well as large scale system replacements and business initiatives
 Identifies and shapes opportunities to provide or create additional business value
 Maintains responsibility and accountability for quality and accuracy of all deliverables associated with the projects assigned
 Executes departmental projects and tasks as assigned
 Mentors other associates in developing/honing business knowledge, analytical skills, and project management skills
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
 BachelorÂs degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related degree
 Six (6) years of project management related experience
Preferences
 Banking or financial services experience
 Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
 Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
 Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Skills and Competencies
 Ability to create and deliver influential large-scale project communications with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm
 Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, etc.)
 Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments / projects simultaneously
 Relevant work experience in technology with a broad understanding across multiple IT disciplines
 Familiarity with the Kanban approach, utilizing Jira and Confluence toolsets
 Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
 Understanding of leadership development and engagement techniques in professional corporate settings
 Strong written / verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
The FCU Program Manager role executes on Financial Crimes Unit strategies and manages FCU initiatives that meet business objectives of effective financial crime identification, mitigation, and reporting.
In addition to the responsibilities and duties noted above, the FCU Program manager will:
 Assist with the management, implementation and/or execution of key FCU initiatives.
 Partner with Technology, Data & Analytics, Operations, Compliance, Risk Management and other key groups to identify, organize, prioritize and track key FCU activities.
 Coordinate cross-project resource management.
 Identify and address problems and risks associated with FCU activities.
 Effectively communicate with key stakeholders and manage program documentation.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
