Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience demonstrated by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principals and philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business.
Responsibilities of Associate Product Merchandiser:
 Pioneers in the field of customer experience advocate for practices that enhance interactions with both internal team members and external customers
 Encourages and exemplifies a beneficial store culture founded on integrity, authenticity, and dignity
 Rings up customer transactions and processes returns with precision in accordance with set operational protocols
 Emphasizes the benefits of credit and loyalty schemes in customer communications
 Abides by the merchandising philosophy and adheres to the established procedures and standards in place
 Efficiently follows company guidelines and standards when processing and setting up merchandise for display and sale
 Initiates and engages in store recovery as necessary throughout the day
 Abides by the organizational, cleanliness, and recovery measures for the sales floor and assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the entire store
 Gives and accepts continual recognition and positive critique
 Adheres to the entirety of labor laws, regulations, and company policies
 Backs and engages in initiatives aimed at minimizing loss and decreasing shrink within the store
 Is involved in fostering safety consciousness and maintaining a safe environment
 Engages in other assignments as directed
Requirements of Associate Product Merchandiser:
 Has a strong grasp of customer service principles and practices
 Flexible in scheduling to provide support as needed for the organization
 Demonstrates excellent organizational abilities with a focus on the finer points
 Proficient in multitasking efficiently
 Possesses the capacity to appropriately handle shifts in direction or unexpected situations, supported by strong communication skills
 Efficient in handling heavy loads with or without the requirement for modifications
 Displays adeptness in working with peers and supervisors to achieve objectives
 A positive encounter with customers holds precedence in the retail industry
