Job Summary
Our client is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Finance & HR Administrator to join the team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks including monthly reconciliations, corporate income tax preparation, and maintaining accurate financial statements. You will also support HR administrative duties and assist with end-of-year tax filings. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience with HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
 Monthly Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
 Corporate Income Tax: Assist with the preparation of corporate income tax filings and ensure timely submission in compliance with tax regulations.
 Financial Statements: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, ensuring that they reflect accurate financial performance.
 HR Administration: Support HR with employee records, benefits administration, and payroll processing. Assist with any ad-hoc HR requests.
 End-of-Year Tax Preparation: Help prepare documents for year-end tax filings, including working with external accountants to ensure compliance.
 Daily Transfer Requests: Handle daily transfer requests and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
 Other Duties as Assigned: Provide general financial and administrative support as needed.
Skills & Qualifications: Â Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles. Â Knowledge of corporate tax, financial statements, and reconciliations. Â Strong understanding of HR administration (payroll, benefits, employee records) is a plus. Â Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Excel. Â Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines. Â Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Â Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Â Experience in a part-time or flexible role is preferred but not required.
Education & Experience:
 BachelorÂs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
 At least 2-3 years of experience in finance and HR administration.
 Knowledge of Canadian or US tax regulations is an asset (depending on location).
Working Hours:
 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options.
