The Concessions Supervisor takes the role as leader in providing excellent customer service, directing the staff of the F&B department for the coffee shop and concessions operations, and achieving the sales and labor objective of the budget.
Essential Functions:
 Provide guests with excellent customer service in a friendly and timely manner
 To supervise the successful operation of all coffee shop and concessions areas, including opening and closing procedures
 Evaluate the performance of baristas and concessions staff and make recommendations for improvement
 Make recommendations on coffee shop and coffee services improvements including but not limited to quality of service, menus, presentation, and equipment needs
 Assist Concessions Manager with the on-boarding and training of new baristas/concessions staff and continued education throughout the season
 Assist Concessions Manager in the development of an evolving beverage menu to include alcohol options, specialty drinks and appropriate pricing
 Address customer concerns quickly and decisively with a strong attention to customer service. Communicate any issues to the Concessions Manager and/or VP of Food and Beverage for further consultation.
 Manage the timely arrival and departure of staff members
 Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working
 Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
 Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and order in all areas.
 Encourage up-selling from staff through training and optional incentives throughout the season
 Responsible for the uniform appearance of the barista/concessions staff in accordance with the uniform code
 Develop a sense of accuracy and urgency in the barista/concessions staff
 Complete daily paperwork neatly and accurately and ensure the appropriate allocations
 Must be able to lead, motivate, and relate to staff, peers, and clients
 Must be able to project a professional demeanor and appearance and communicate effectively with clients and staff
 Receive direction from the department heads
 Other duties as assigned by the Concessions Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:  Must have basic knowledge of coffee house and service procedures and functions  Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point of sale system  Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays  Professional oral communications skills. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the restaurant.  Work well under pressure  Can effectively solve problems  Organization and time management skills  Work well with other people in a team environment  Catering experience preferred  Multi-outlet facility experience preferred  Excellent attendance is required with schedule flexibility determined by business needs
Education and Work Experience:
 Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
 1 years of barista experience required
 POS (point of sale) experience required
