Location: Remote (Must Reside in Texas)
Schedule:
 Standard 8 AM - 5 PM for the first 3 months
 Flexible schedule after 3 months (8-hour shift within an operating window; 5 hours must overlap with clinic hours)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncology Coder to join our expanding team. This role requires expertise in Radiation Oncology coding, strong administrative skills, and experience with Epic & Aria billing systems. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and compliance in coding therapy treatment procedures while effectively managing charges and end-of-treatment audits.
Key Responsibilities:  Accurately code Radiation Oncology procedures following CPT, ICD-10, and CMS guidelines  Ensure billing compliance for therapy treatment procedures  Work within Epic & Aria to track and process charges  Maintain a weekly average of 12 charges per hour  Complete end-of-treatment audits within a 2-week timeframe  Keep up with unsigned charges and follow up as needed  Collaborate with a team of coders, a supervisor, and a manager to ensure workflow efficiency  Utilize Excel for tracking and reporting
Required Qualifications:  5+ years of general medical coding experience  2+ years of Radiation Oncology coding experience  Experience with Epic & Aria systems  CPC or CCS certification (required)  ROCC certification preferred (or willingness to obtain after hire)  Strong administrative and organizational skills  Proficiency in Excel  Ability to manage deadlines, workflows, and documentation efficiently
