Training Compliance Officer

The Training Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in the Compliance department, which serves as the Second Line of Defense for Societe Generale's corporate banking, investment banking, and broker-dealer activities. This position involves collaborating with external vendors to develop E-Learning courses and creating internal training materials using online course authoring tools. The officer will work closely with the SG offshore Learning Management System (LMS) teams to test, set up, and distribute E-Learning courses, ensuring that dynamic populations are created for effective training delivery. In addition to course creation, the Training Compliance Officer will be responsible for tracking past due training and escalating issues according to internal procedures. The role requires timely responses to regulatory, audit, and compliance testing examination requests for training materials and completion reports. The officer will also deliver live training sessions, including compliance new hire orientations, and contribute to presentations for senior management and regulators on various training topics. Maintaining appropriate records is essential to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. The Compliance department is dedicated to providing guidance on relevant laws, rules, and regulations applicable to banking and financial activities, including Know Your Customer (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML), anti-terrorism financing, sanctions, client protection, market integrity, anti-bribery and corruption, and data protection. The department also oversees trade and communications surveillance and manages transversal support functions to achieve its goals.
Responsibilities

 5+ years of experience at an investment bank or other financial institutions with a focus on training

 Administration of LMS
,
 Creating E-Learning courses using online course authoring tools
,
 Advanced experience with LMSs (e.g., Cornerstone)
,
 Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
,
 Bachelors degree
