Description:
 Evaluating and underwriting professional liability insurance policies for law firms.
 Assessing risk, determining coverage, and pricing terms.
 Ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry regulations.
 Reviewing loss history and various documents.
 Collaborating with brokers and agents.
 Developing and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and agents.
 Staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
 Preparing underwriting reports and recommendations to management.
Requirements:  BachelorÂs degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in lawyers professional liability underwriting  Strong analytical and decision-making skills  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Proficiency in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite  Ability to work independently and as part of a team  Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills  Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards  Professional designation as Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) and/or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or in process with goal to complete a plus  P&C License (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of date of hire)
