The Role
As an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist at Overjet, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a key member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable, collecting outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients and customers. You will report directly to our Controller.

Responsibilities
 Manage and maintain the accounts receivable aging report, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
 Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding payments and discrepancies, providing excellent customer service.
 Work with the finance team to streamline billing and collection processes for greater efficiency.
 Identify and escalate accounts that require additional attention or legal intervention.
 Reconcile customer accounts and ensure the accuracy of transactions.
 Ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment and handle multiple accounts simultaneously
 Assist in preparing financial reports related to collections and revenue forecasts.
 Continuously improve collection strategies, aiming to reduce days sales outstanding (DSO), increase Autopay, and resolve aged receivables.
Qualifications
 BachelorÂs Degree required in any field
 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
 Proven experience managing client relationships and resolving disputes.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
 Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve payment issues professionally.
 Experience working in a fast-paced, growing company where attention to detail and time management are key.
 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment
Compensation
The compensation range will vary if based internationally depending on the country in which you live. Should you be based in the US, the compensation range for this role is 40-50k.
