The Best Buy Certified Apple Computing Advisor creates a world-class shopping experience for our customers while inspiring them to see what's possible with technology. This role is pivotal in building quality relationships with customers, providing them with relevant and memorable product demonstrations. The Certified Advisors are responsible for delivering full service and solutions support to customers in the areas of Vendor Experience. They play a crucial role in achieving profitability by meeting revenue, margin, solution, and operational targets. Highly skilled within their area, they work closely with other employees to demonstrate, promote, and sell products and services. At Best Buy, the focus is on building long-term relationships with customers, and every team member is empowered to deliver a unique experience tailored to each customer's needs. Key responsibilities include driving a positive customer experience by building relationships, exhibiting empathy, and providing solutions to customer needs. Advisors process sales transactions, including online and in-person orders, and hand off customers to General Advisors for returns and exchanges. They are expected to achieve both team and individual goals while ensuring an excellent shopping experience. Continuous learning and certification are essential to apply a high level of product knowledge and expertise, which enhances the customer experience. Advisors engage with customers for consultations in-store, over the phone, or through online chat options, generating future opportunities by discovering deeper customer needs to build lasting relationships. The role also involves maintaining the assigned department's merchandising and readiness to serve customers, providing feedback on products and customer engagement with vendor partners, and acting as a trusted subject matter expert, brand advocate, and product champion for specified vendor product assortments. Additionally, they coach and train coworkers on new vendor technology and services, utilizing vendor-provided devices and accommodations to improve product knowledge and understanding.
