Job Purpose
To successfully implement and support Payroll and base HR modules for new and existing clients on PaySpace by analysing the clientÂs requirements, configuring the system, migrating the data, and balancing the figures. The client base is mainly from the Francophone African countries therefore the successful applicant would have to be fluent in French The role is mostly focused on Large to Medium-size companies
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures customer excellence
 Builds and maintains strong relationships with customer base.
 Lives the companyÂs values and service standards with regards to customer interaction.
 Adheres to business processes and systems to meet the companyÂs quality requirements
 Takes personal accountability for service excellence.
 Adheres to the companyÂs work standards.
Information security
 Understand their role within the organisation from an information security perspective and commit to protecting the organisationÂs security information assets.
Finance
 Ensures Cost savings and efficiencies in area of accountability.
Self- development
 Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional
publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
 Prepare personal development plans in conjunction with Manager and implement in line with business requirements.
Teamwork
 Ensures teamwork to achieve shared goals.
Payroll Implementations
 Actively lead workshops at client site and be comfortable in addressing senior/executive
management
 Study the fact sheet of the relevant country/s before implementation of a non South African entity
 Analyse and document client requirements
 Brainstorm with development and implementations manager to best satisfy new requirements and create specification documents for these items
 Configure system according to the clientÂs requirements
 Ability to configure complex calculations using Javascript
 Migrate data from clientÂs current system to new system
 Balance payroll data
 Play the lead role in implementations:
 Distribution of configuration and migration work across the team
 Ensure maximum productivity throughout the team
 Ensure quality work of all team members
 Ensure project milestones are reached
 Follow standard implementation procedures
 Provide training to the users
Post-Implementation support
 Provide support via email and/or telephone to new clients for a period of time after
implementation until handover to support or outsource department
 Ensure a smooth handover to support and/or outsource department
General Duties
 Stay up to date with the latest system functionality
 Assist the support and outsource departments with queries when required (using Zoho Desk)
 Mentor new/junior consultants on the implementation process and system functionality
System Testing
 Test new system functionality by following the prescribed testing process
Requirements
 Fully Fluent in French and English
 Full knowledge of Payroll and HR legislation
 At least 5 years experience in payroll consulting
 Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite i.e. Excel, Word etc
 Strong analytical abilities
 Creative and innovative
 Demonstrated ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations
 Strong interpersonal skills
 Degree in HR or BCom Degree
