Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer
This is a deployed position in Greater Seattle Area (Everett-WA) areas working at various LM supplier companies. (Telecommuter remote work location to be reasonable driving distance to LM assigned suppliers as defined in agreement with manager).
 The selected candidate will be responsible for achieving total quality performance across multiple sites for strategic suppliers that produce major airframe and systems components.
 Candidate needs working knowledge background in GD&T, Inspection methods, Tooling, AS9100, AS9102. working knowledge of Six Sigma, preventive tools PDCA, PFMEA, Mistake Proofing and Gap Analysis.
 Must have knowledge and effectively apply root cause analysis, Cause Mapping, Cause & Effect diagrams, Pick Charts and, structured RCCA for effective corrective action.
 Goals are to lead the supplier through the process of developing and executing plans that ensure long term flow of defect-free products in support of LM Aero production.
 The selected candidate will be accountable for collaborating with functional organizations and leadership at the supplier sites and at LM Aero to solve technical and contractual issues, and for ensuring supplier performance is aligned with quality goals while sustaining production delivery requirements.
 Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.
A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $64,400 - $123,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateÂs final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
