Key Responsibilities
• Deliver bookkeeping services for an array of clients, maintaining accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Process client payroll and related taxes, including W-2, 1099, quarterly, and annual returns.
• Execute general accounting tasks such as recording transactions and reconciling general ledger, credit card, and cash accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable by verifying, completing, and reconciling invoice payments, ensuring correct account allocation.
• Monitor accounts receivable to guarantee precise financial reporting.
• Employ accounting software tools, including QuickBooks, Sage, and CFS.
• Prepare and submit sales tax returns for our business clients.

Required Skills
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in accounting software with a quick aptitude for new systems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage projects autonomously.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing.

Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
