Assist Accounting Supervisors with quality service monitoring, performing daily/weekly AP tasks, as well as providing support to staff to meet departmental objectives and contractual obligations.

Primary Responsibilities:  Weekly check voiding to include special voiding projects  Vendor review and approvals  Perform daily quality review on vouchers in preparation for pay cycles  Process pay cycles timely and accurately  Assist in training and mentoring staff  Learn complicated processes to serve as a backup and provide assistance  Provide guidance and assist in resolving accounts payable invoice issues  Act as a liaison with internal departments and external providers to help troubleshoot/solve issues  Investigate payment inquiries  Monday- Friday 8-5 any time zone  Nationwide remote

Required Qualifications:  Equivalent combination of education (High School diploma/ GED), experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered  2 years related accounting experience  Demonstrated leadership experience  Proven knowledge of accounting and accounts payable procedures and practices  Demonstrated ability to lead and direct the activities of others  Proven solid oral and written communication skills  Proven data entry and organization skills as well as accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work in a team oriented department  Demonstrated analytical competencies  Demonstrated ability to handle corporate documents confidentially
Preferred Qualifications:  BachelorÂs degree in accounting or related field  Accounting system experience with Cost Point and Citrix  Knowledge of medical and dental terminology  All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth GroupÂs Telecommuter Policy

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
