Associate Director, Software Quality Assurance - Data Analytics / ETL Testing
Posted 2025-04-06This role is hybrid from one of the following Locations: Glastonbury, CT; Coppell, TX; Houston, TXThe Associate Director, Software Quality Assurance is a senior position responsible for the Software Quality Engineering team, leading new and existing Quality Engineering programs, and will be instrumental in coordinating QA processes, driving test automation methods, risk analysis, resource planning and estimating for client projects. You report to the director Software Quality Assurance.Responsibilities:Review/Prepare test automation solutionsDesign automation frameworksLead the implementation of test strategy, plans, and executionSupport automation script development and optimizationRecommend new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve quality and productivityCollaborate with scrum/product teams to strategize and align long term solution for test automationAlign automation processes, tools, and strategies with business goalsEnforce best practices for automationStandardize compliance for QE AutomationOptimize automation processes Design, plan, execute, monitor, improve testing process for a testing engagement.Insure all scrum teams under this AD leadership meet the DOR and DOD as specified by Wolters KluwerOversee/ensure the quality of test plans, test cases, test matrix, and bug reportingScripting and development experience in a broad range of programming languages.Database (RDBMS) technology understanding with hands on experience in SQL and procedural languages.Advanced experience in Cloud (preferably Azure cloud)Advanced experience in Data Analytics, data engineeringYou should be proficient in English, proven leadership skills, software development experience, deep understanding of formal QA tools, methodology/processes and deep experience with service virtualization.Work with the test team to identify new automation opportunities.Contribute to managing of test environments.Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information.Develop and maintain a planning model that estimates the ROI of test automation. Track and report actual ROIKeep current with advances in automation methodologies and tools.Provide reports on status for each releaseExperience with Azure DevOps / Jenkins or other CI applications/software.Experience:BachelorÂs degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.QA professional with 10+ years software industry and management experience8+ years test automation experience with three years at a senior level. Demonstrated. Experience selecting, designing, and implementing test automation frameworks. Experience developing in-house automation toolsHand-on experience using Selenium Web Driver with JavaJIRA, Confluence, QtestTricentis Tosca knowledge/expertise will be an added advantage.Expertise with continuous integration (Jenkins/AzDo Pipelines)Hands on experience with data visualization toolsProficiency in data engineering tools such as SQL, Python, Snowflake,..etc.Expertise in ETL processes and ensuring data pipelines meet quality standardsCompensation:Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $153,200 - $216,850SummaryLocation: USA - Glastonbury, CT; USA - Coppell, TX; USA - Houston, TX, Allen PkwyType: Full time
