Red Rabbit is a Black-owned School Food Management Company that works with hundreds of schools, districts, and food banks to uplift communities of color throughout the North East and Mid-Atlantic Regions. Our professionally trained chefs create menus, source farm fresh ingredients, and cook delicious, thoughtful, and familiar food. School food matters not only because itÂs integral to good health, but because what children eat is an essential part of their cultural identity and sense of self.
About the role
The Recruiter is an exciting role at Red Rabbit and provides a unique opportunity to be a part of a fast growing Black-owned organization committed to building a safe and inspiring workplace for our BIPOC employees.
The Recruiter leads the strategy and execution of successful sourcing and recruitment efforts for multiple kitchens. Working closely with the People Operations team and Regional Directors, the Recruiter will maintain a deep deck of qualified hourly candidates and support the recruitment and hiring of senior level positions.
You will average 10-12 hires a month, ensuring that the company culture is upheld and the right people are in the right places. This role reports directly to the office of the Chief Business Office. The ideal candidate understands the demands and commitment of high-volume hiring and is passionate about creating environments that uplift and celebrate our differences.
Job Requirements
 Talent Acquisition: Work cross-departmentally to maintain both a deep understanding and global perspective of the current and future talent needs of the organization. Foster and maintain relationships with external talent pool organizations to ensure a deep deck of prospects. Manage and lead the full life cycle recruiting process for all teams involved.
 Company Culture Keeper: Craft and strategically post job descriptions that attract talent that is aligned with company culture and mission. Ensure the screening and interview process is equitable and in line with federal and state requirements. Assist with on-boarding experience to maintain a seamless and position experience for the prospect.
 Administrative Duties: Manage the HRIS recruiting system ensuring the integrity of all data entry. Manage and lead all trial days including but not limited to; scheduling and day of flow, administering tests, collecting after-interview feedback, writing final recommendation forms.
Skills & Experience
 4+ years of Recruiting experiences, 2+ of which were high volume recruiting
 Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent certifications is required
 Bilingual English/Spanish (reading/writing/speaking) is major plus
 Familiarity with hiring for kitchen staff is a plus
 Fully versed in New York City/State hiring laws and policies ensuring compliance.
 Must be extremely well organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask
 Must be reliable, function well within a team and work calmly and efficiently in a fast moving environment.
 Must have strong problem solving skills, be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
 Must share our passion for improving nutrition in schools for BIPOC children
Salary and Benefits
 Salary: $65,000-$80,000
