Role Description
Weâre seeking an inspiring and results-driven Sales Leader to shape the future of our Clean Energy Sales Teams. In this pivotal role, you will provide visionary leadership, craft impactful strategies, and drive tactical initiatives to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Responsible for the revenue generation
Manages sales and local sales administration resources
Manages the training, development, and ongoing motivation of local sales team
Manages the annual plan, quarterly updates, and long-range planning processes
Completes organization reports and biweekly highlights
Responsible for sales organization with regard to account strategies, tactics, and management contacts
Manages priorities and bonus outcomes for the sales team to ensure closure of key programs
Creates training plans for each sales team to handle the dynamic nature of the market and counter the increasing array of purchasing tactics employed
Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written, and presentation
Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Requirements
10+ years in sales leadership in clean energy, renewable technologies, or related industries
A track record of budgeting, pipeline management, revenue generation, and growth from Enterprise Customers
Leading successful remote and local sales teams
Building strong client relationships and engaging in customer interaction and industry leadership
A deep understanding of clean energy markets such as hydrogen, e-mobility, or energy storage
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
