Job Description
The Operator  Machine 2 is responsible for producing quality product while running continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment efficiently and safely by performing the following duties.
What your day will look like:
 Prepare quality check sheets
 Proficient in operating and troubleshooting multiple pieces of equipment efficiently
 Perform product change over without assistance
 Perform package change over without assistance on multiple pieces of equipment
 Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards
What you need to succeed:
 Good safety record
 The ability to receive and follow instructions
 The ability to work well and get along with other employees and/or customers
 In the event of drivers, to have a good MVR
 Must be able to pass the Company physical
 Must have a neat appearance
 Must be self-motivated
 Must be capable of learning to operate technical equipment
 Demonstrates alertness
 Able to successfully manage several procedures at once in quick repetition
 Must accept responsibility for the safe and efficient completion of all clean-up functions
 Must be able to learn to communicate mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel without close supervision
 Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position
 Employees who have held a Production Machine Operator position for at least 90 days will have preference in qualifying for the position
Physical Requirements
Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
