We are seeking a dedicated Junior People Partner to join our team and support aligning business objectives with our employees and management in designated divisions. In this role, you will act as a consultant to management on various People Operations-related matters, serving as both an employee advocate and a change agent. You will collaborate closely with the HR team to deliver value-added services that align with our organizational goals and drive success for both management and employees.
Key Responsibilities:Â
Business Partnering:Â
- Act as a point of contact for managers and employees in the business unit.Â
- Understand business objectives and support HR strategies to align with them.Â
- Provide HR guidance on basic HR policies and procedures.Â
Employee Relations:Â
- Assist in managing and resolving employee relations issues.Â
- Conduct initial investigations and escalate complex issues as needed.Â
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Â
Performance Management:Â
- Support the implementation of performance management systems.Â
- Assist line managers with performance reviews and development plans.Â
- Help address underperformance and support setting achievable goals.Â
Talent Management:Â
- Assist in the talent acquisition process by coordinating with the recruitment team.Â
- Support the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.Â
- Help develop and implement employee retention programs.Â
Learning and Development:Â
- Identify basic training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.Â
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to deliver relevant training programs.Â
- Monitor and evaluate training programs for effectiveness.Â
Compensation and Benefits:Â
- Provide basic guidance on compensation and benefits matters.Â
- Support the annual salary review and bonus processes.Â
Change Management:Â
- Support organizational change initiatives by providing HR expertise and guidance.Â
- Assist in developing change management strategies to support business objectives.Â
- Facilitate communication and training during periods of change.Â
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR role.Â
- knowledge of HR practices and labour laws.Â
- Experience with performance management, employee relations, and talent management.Â
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Â
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.Â
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Â
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality.Â
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.Â
