We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Bilingual (Spanish) Access Advocates. This fully remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while providing critical support to patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacies.
Position Summary:
As a Bilingual Access Advocate, you will serve as the single point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need throughout the reimbursement process. You will manage cases, assist with access to therapies, and provide guidance on program services, all while adhering to HIPAA regulations. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment, offering a unique opportunity to grow within the company.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Â Patient Advocacy: Act as a compassionate advocate, enhancing the experience of patients and providers throughout their interaction with our services. Â Case Management: Manage a regional caseload, coordinating access to therapies and support services, and conducting timely follow-ups. Â Documentation: Accurately document all interactions and activities in the CareMetx Connect system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Â Information Validation: Review and validate all patient information, providing assistance to ensure completeness and accuracy. Â Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers, resolving requests promptly and escalating issues as necessary. Â Collaboration: Work closely with inter-departmental teams to support patient needs and streamline processes.
Experience and Educational Requirements: Â Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a physicianÂs office, specialty pharmacy, or benefits verification/health care insurance background preferred.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements: Â Bilingual Fluency: Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required. Â Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Â Technical Proficiency: Competency in MS Word, Excel, and proficient keyboard skills. Â HIPAA Compliance: Knowledgeable of HIPAA regulations and committed to maintaining compliance. Â Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Â Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and team members. Â Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues independently or as part of a team. Â Customer Focus: Dedicated to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
