This opportunity is a customer service position with PEAK-Pro Staffing Inc. We are a growing organization with over 100 home based customer service agents. The incumbent will be required to perform the effective servicing of existing Automobile Insurance policies.

The work at home customer service specialist receives incoming telephone calls and assists customers to complete various tasks through a computer interface. This is a Customer Service position with no sales requirement.

Requests will include accessing systems to make Automobile Insurance policy changes, sending policyholder documents per direction from the policyholder, and updating personal information as verified with the policyholder. Inquiries from policyholders include clarification of general procedures and specific policy information, providing quotes on potential policy changes, providing instruction on how to access online system for payment and policy information, and confirming policy status for the named insured or other valid third parties.

Examples of call types handled by the incumbent would include the following:
• Addition/deletions of vehicles and drivers
• Transfer of vehicles from an existing policy
• Policy changes
• Premium quotations
• Policy coverage verifications
• Account balance inquiries
• Pay by phone transactions
• Pending cancellation and reinstatement requests
• First Notice of Loss/Claims

Insurance Customer Service Representative Requirements

· Experience with Automobile Insurance policy service and claims processing is preferred.

· Customer care skills and concern for people and their insurance needs

· The ability to work independently from a home based office environment

· MUST BE AVAILABLE to work at the following times Monday-Friday; 6:00 AM- 8:00 PM Central Time.

· MUST BE AVAILABLE to work Saturdays between the hours of 7:30 AM- 3:30 PM Central Time on a scheduled basis.

· Agents should plan to work between 20-30 hours per week.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

· Provide quality assistance and customer service in a professional and timely manner.

· Responding to inbound telephone calls from policyholders and customers.

· Navigate in a computerized environment to access appropriate information.

· Listen and record information simultaneously and follow through by assessing losses and acting upon the claim, should it require attention.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

· 1 Year of Call center experience handling inbound calls is required. Experience with Insurance Call and Claim processing (Home and Auto) calls is preferred

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of computers including accurate keyboarding skills
• Typing speed of 30 wpm or more
• High School Diploma or GED
• Multi-Tasking (Listening, Talking, Typing, Reading, Writing, Data entry, and confirming)
• Basic knowledge of Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word), Outlook, and basic computer use.

Home Work Space Requirements: • The home office must provide a quiet workspace free from background noise. • All work at home agents must provide a telephone “land line” and HIGH SPEED internet in their home. Mobile Hot Spot &/or Cellular telephone service is not acceptable. • The candidate must provide their own desk and chair. • Internet must be “Cable Modem” or DSL. Acceptable providers include: Comcast, SureWest, Time Warner, Google Fiber, or ATT Uverse. Wireless Card, Satellite or Wi-Fi based internet service is NOT acceptable. • The Download speed must be at least 50.0 MBPS. The job candidate will be sent a link to an internet speed test. The internet connection must be tested and approved by PEAK management prior to the candidate’s start date in order to be considered for employment.

OTHER IMPORTANT FACTORS TO CONSIDER:
• New Hire Training will run for 3 consecutive weeks, Monday-Friday.
• Classes are held in a hybrid training environment; both remotely and in our Overland Park, KS training center.
• Training typically lasts all day (7:30-4:30)
• 100% attendance is required.
• Trainees cannot miss any of the training without the express prior permission from the management team. Any unexcused absence or tardiness during the 3 weeks of training may result in immediate termination.
• Each agent is expected to meet weekly and monthly goals in the core areas of: Quality, Productivity, and Attendance
