JOB OVERVIEW:

The Account Executive plays a crucial role in driving sales and achieving targets across various markets, including Acute, Alternate Site, Long Term Care, Municipal, Institutional, and others. This role involves leveraging Dukal’s distribution network and self-distributing health systems to maximize sales opportunities. Key responsibilities include meeting and exceeding sales targets within the assigned territory, engaging with 100% of assigned accounts using a consultative sales approach, and ensuring regular contact and relationship building. The Account Executive is expected to conduct multiple sales presentations daily to effectively communicate Dukal’s value proposition. Establishing, re-establishing, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including gatekeepers, main points of contact, and decision-makers, is essential. Each call should have a specific purpose, reaching out to all levels within the customer organization that influence purchasing decisions. The Account Executive should prioritize time on existing customers while also prospecting for new business opportunities and engaging in CRM activities. Additionally, learning and effectively using the technology and digital resources provided by Dukal is crucial to enhancing sales efforts. Serving as a reliable source of expertise for distributors and end-users, the Account Executive drives and services sales through informed and professional interactions. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Account Executive ensures that Dukal remains a primary source of products for its customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Contacts each customer by phone or other means of communication within an assigned territory every fiscal month to consistently achieve monthly and annual sales growth goals by utilizing consultative sales techniques.
• Works remotely utilizing technology and tools to support team meetings, general communications, and individual meetings with management.
• Develop sales opportunities through cold calling, and relationship building
• Maintains CRM accuracy, which includes maintaining the account record by capturing decision makers and account notes. Creating quotes in CRM as well as maintaining an accurate opportunity funnel that represents 5x the sales growth goal
• Identifies and develops future Flagship Distributors, and collaborates regularly with the strategic account managers
• Works with support departments to assist customers with order status, product returns, pricing discrepancies, and any other needs they may have
• Responsible for being aware of and knowledgeable of promotional programs and merchandising-marketing initiatives.
• Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work- related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including Worldwide Business Standards.
• Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments

Specific Knowledge & Skills
• Strong selling, customer service and negotiation skills.
• Good telephone etiquette with the ability to call out to and answer a high volume of calls.
• Ability to effectively answer inquiries and resolve disputes.
• Able to learn applicable computer systems and software (Microsoft 365)
• Work independently with limited supervision in a remote work environment
• Maintain awareness of new and incoming sales trends within the region

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Two years of medical sales experience, or the equivalent required

Preferred Education
• This position requires a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

Travel/Physical Demands
• Travel typically less than 10%. Home Office Environment.

The posted compensation for this position is $55,000. This position is eligible for a commission plan not reflected in the compensation. .
