We are looking for a full-cycle sales representative to work alongside our business development team to sell YelpÂs data licensing services to small and midsized businesses. You will be charged with pitching, talking to developers, and managing a sale through close.
This role reports into the Director of Marketing for YelpÂs Data Licensing products and will support marketing-driven deals through full-cycle sales.

What You'll Do
 Sales and Lead Management
 Lead Management: Focus on both inbound lead handling and outbound prospecting to drive sales growth. Draft and iterate on compelling sales email copy to engage potential clients.
 Pipeline Management: Convert leads to sales opportunities and track opportunity progress through the funnel. Provide weekly and monthly forecasts.
 Opportunity Qualification: Evaluate prospect fit against our available solutions to assess sales feasibility.
 Pitching and Presentations: Conduct sales demos, present sales decks, draft proposals, and prepare sales contracts.
 Negotiation: Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to close deals and ensure strong client outcomes.
 Communication and Collaboration
 Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
 Communication: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
 Collaboration: Work closely with our business development team by making introductions to the group for larger deals.
 Adaptability: Thrive in ambiguity and be excited to help define a new function while delivering outstanding results.
 Compliance and Reporting
 Compliance: Ensure compliance with Yelp Data Licensing allowable use cases and policies.
 Reporting: Ensure timely reporting of sales progress to goals and report directly to the Head of Marketing for Data Licensing.
What It Takes To Succeed
 3-6 years of sales experience with demonstrated increasing seniority
 Strong preference for candidates familiar with SaaS, subscription-based services, and technical products.
 History of meeting and exceeding quota notwithstanding growth constraints
 Proficiency in Google Sheets and Salesforce.
 Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs
 Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 Strong negotiation skills.
 Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
 Experience in conducting sales demos and preparing sales contracts.
