Our school district in Southaven, Mississippi , is looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. This full-time position is offered as a 1099 contract role, providing you with the freedom to manage your schedule while making a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs.

Responsibilities: • Design and implement individualized lesson plans and IEPs for students. • Provide support and instruction to students in need of special education services. • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure success. • Collaborate with parents, staff, and outside specialists to create a comprehensive learning plan. • Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field. • Valid Iowa Special Education certification. • Previous experience working with students with disabilities is preferred. • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
