Workers' Compensation Claim Specialist  California JurisdictionLocation: Remote (Reporting to Irvine, CA)Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PSTSalary: $95,000 - $102,000 per year

At CCMSI, we are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claim Specialist to manage California jurisdiction claims for a dedicated client account. This fully remote position requires expertise in handling mostly litigated claims, strong organizational and documentation skills, and a commitment to impeccable customer service.

Responsibilities
 Investigate, evaluate, and manage workers' compensation claims in California from inception to resolution.
 Handle primarily litigated claims, working closely with defense attorneys and external vendors.
 Utilize a diary system to track deadlines, maintain organized claim files, and ensure timely follow-ups.
 Establish and adjust reserves in compliance with client and regulatory guidelines.
 Process claim payments, negotiate settlements, and ensure legal compliance.
 Communicate effectively with injured workers, attorneys, medical providers, and clients to facilitate claims resolution.
 Prepare detailed reports on claim status, financials, and litigation progress.
 Represent CCMSI at hearings, mediations, and legal proceedings as necessary.
Qualifications
Required:
 Experience handling California workers' compensation claims, including litigated cases.
 Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills to manage a complex caseload.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 Commitment to exceptional customer service and a client-focused approach.
Preferred:
 Self-Insurance Administrator (SIP) certification.
