Extreme Networks is seeking a intern to support the Service sales team. This team is responsible for driving new business, as well as building and maintaining customer loyalty across Extreme’s customer base. As a member of the team, the intern will interact with various cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and channels to help drive our go-to-market strategy and support some of our top initiatives.

Position Responsibilities

•

Assistance in a technical lab with Server & Switch management, cable routing, assembly of racking equipment, and basic connectivity

•

Updating of equipment inventory, replacement, and shipment as needed

•

IT support if needed to best facilitate the lab or office area

•

Working with data and reports to summarize information needed for customer presentations or decision making

•

Analyze customer inventory reports to understand any opportunity for additional service coverage

•

Basic computer programming scripts

Requirements (Intern Level)

•

Networking, Engineering, or Computer focused students interested in getting experience and exposure to the world of Service Delivery

•

Skilled at using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

•

Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with some direction.

•

Eagerness to learn and grow in a sales environment.

•

Curiosity to understand what’s needed to provide technical support services, build stronger customer relationships, and implement Extreme Solutions to customers

•

Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills

•

Willingness to adapt to changing work environments/people/process/tools

*This is a 40 hour per week during the Summer Break on site at our Reading, UK Office
