This is a part-time position located at our Boston office, requiring your presence on-site five days a week. The role involves computer use and collaboration within a team. You will also be actively engaged in standing or physically moving (opening, sorting, delivering mail pieces) for a significant portion of your workday.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming mail and parcels. Pick up mail from the PO Box (located 0.3 miles from the corporate office) and from the mailbox in the corporate office building. Sort mail based on departments, individuals, or designated categories, and distribute mail to respective recipients within the organization.
  • Input necessary mail through the postage machine/Fedex Account/Other accounts ensuring that each letter or parcel is stamped with the correct amount of postage.
  • Telephone courier service to investigate missing inbound packages.
  • Coordinate with courier services for special deliveries.
  • Determine least costly method of overnight express mail based on weight of package and cost for each carrier.
  • Send out Fedex, UPS and other outgoing packages and complete necessary paperwork
  • Send out checks to the designated lockbox. Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing checks transactions.
  • Upload scans of loan servicing related documents into the CRM system (Salesforce) based on defined business rules for various mail pieces.
  • Investigate loan servicing related mail pieces that do not fall within established business rules, reaching out to the relevant internal stakeholders as required.
  • Ensure mail is organized and well-maintained. Monitor and restock supplies as needed.
  • Perform other mail-related duties as assigned by management.
  • Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Must demonstrate independent decision-making abilities
  • Must possess strong time management skills
  • Must possess strong multi-tasking skills
  • Must be self-motivated and work well with minimal supervision and work well with others
  • Familiarity with Google software
  • Familiarity with Salesforce preferred, but not required
  • Document processing experience preferred, but not required
  • Requires the ability to stand for extended periods
