Your Mission

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join the Data Operated Bus squad. This squad is in charge of the data products related to Bus supply & Competition.We develop and run Data products to improve the efficiency and productivity of the Operated Bus unit. We operate a fleet of bus lines in Western Europe. The squad builds a data warehouse on this scope to serve reliable data to any of the

700+ BlaBlaCar employees. Our squadâs main stakeholders are Operational teams and product managers. Our data-warehouse is built around 3 main components: Google BigQuery, Airflow and dbt.

As a Data Analyst, you directly influence the efficiency of our Bus Operations, and our User Experience. At the intersection of different domains, you have the opportunity to enrich your own knowledge and skills while collaborating with Product Managers, Software Engineers and customer-facing teams.

Youâll work closely with your Engineering Manager, Data Engineers and team Data Analysts.As well, you will belong to the Analytics Chapter, an internal community of 25+ analysts who meet regularly to share, learn and innovate on data analytics.

Your Responsibilities

Infusing a data-informed mindset to our Operated Bus strategy by working conjointly with Business teams to define, analyse and report on Business KPIsProviding actionable insights by investigation and exploratory analytics on the Operated bus business unit

Owning Data Mart layer in a full stack data team, working closely with your teammates from different data backgrounds

Building, improving, and maintaining a suite of Tableau dashboards and supporting data consumers to get autonomous in their usage of data

Maintaining our optimisation tools to improve our Bus operations

Ensuring effective communication and support to stakeholders with varying levels of data proficiency

Working with our stack: SQL / Tableau / Airflow / BigQuery / GCP

Your Qualifications

Excellent command of SQL

Proficiency in data visualization tools

Passion for the Mobility industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and communicating data clearly

Organized, results-driven, and able to prioritize in a changing environment

Enjoy sharing and learning from others

Fluent in English
