As an Engineering Manager (f/m/d), you will be responsible for driving technical excellence, mentoring engineers, and ensuring our platform remains scalable, performant, and aligned with business objectives.
What to expect?Â- Team Leadership & Growth: Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and innovative engineering culture. Mentor engineers at all levels, providing strategic guidance and day-to-day support.
- Technical Strategy & Execution: Define and execute the teamâs roadmap while driving technical excellence initiatives and advocating for engineering best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to align technical work with business objectives.
- Architecture & Performance: Oversee technical direction, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Development & Delivery: Guide the team through solutioning, coding, testing, and deployment. Promote a structured way of working, clear documentation, and a rigorous approach to engineering execution.
- Process & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve development processes and remove blockers. Challenge the status quo to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with TypeScript and cloud-native architectures, including serverless technologies like AWS Lambda or Cloudflare Workers.
- Scalability & Performance: Proven ability to design, optimize, and scale high-availability systems while maintaining performance and security.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Experience mentoring engineers at different levels and fostering a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.
- Strategic Execution: Ability to define and implement technical roadmaps that align with business goals and drive engineering excellence.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong skills in working cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business priorities.
